Welcome to the Endurance 50 blog! This is a place I'll chronicle all things leading up to and during the 50 Marathon - 50 State - 50 Day adventure.
With just four months remaining until the expedition begins, I've begun an intensive training program to prepare for the challenge of running a marathon a day for fifty consecutive days. As you may imagine, my training consists of lots of running, but there are other important elements I will incorporate as well. I'll discuss training, diet & nutrition, mental preparation, and exercise tools in detail during subsequent entries leading up to the September 17th start date.
